A DSP built in-house: 10 fixed bands, identical across every Android device, wired directly into the playback engine instead of delegated to the system.
10 bands spread from 31 Hz to 16 kHz, one octave apart, ±15 dB of range per band. Processing runs directly in the audio pipeline, between decoding and output, with a preamp and a peak limiter to keep the sound clean even when you push the gains. Result: the same frequencies, the same curve, on any device.
Speaker, wired headphones, Bluetooth: each keeps its own setting, remembered automatically. Switch output, the sound follows without a thought.
